Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God. –1 Peter 4:10
To serve others is a major ministry priority of Calvary. The Bible says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another” (1 Peter 4:10).
OurTeams at Calvary focus on serving members within our church and serving in our community. We believe that every believer has been given a spiritual gift, such as administration, discernment, evangelism, faith, teaching, exhortation, giving, leadership, service, mercy, and so on. The purpose of serve teams is to give people the opportunity to use their spiritual gifts in service to the local church. Our serve teams fall into a few categories, including administrative, hospitality, teaching, leadership, service, and others.
In our community, we partner with Petal Elementary School, Petal Task Force, and other local organizations to serve others.
Through our teams, we strive for a high level of excellence in showing true hospitality and service to everyone who comes on our property and in practicing wise stewardship of all our resources.
