What must I do to be saved? (Acts 16:30)

We live in a beautiful world, created by a loving God. For his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world (Romans 1:20). And He wants to have a relationship with every person that is real and personal.
But we are broken by sin. Sin brings death and separation from God. There is nothing we can do to fix ourselves.
All have sinned (Romans 3:23a).
The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23a).

Yet, God loves a broken world and broken people. He loves us in spite of our sin, so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for us.
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
We must believe in Jesus by confessing and repenting of our sin, and trusting in Him as Lord and Savior of our lives
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
When we do, God changes our story from brokenness to beauty.

Would you like to confess your faith in Jesus?
Heavenly Father, I confess my sin to you. Please forgive me. I want you to be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for sending Jesus to die for me and to rise from grave. I receive your gift of forgiveness and eternal life. Help me to turn away from my sin and live for You. Thank you for changing my story from brokenness to beauty. Amen.
